Secondary backup server access available

25 Jun 2011

We used to take backups everyday and store them securely on encrypted backup disks behind a secure physical firewall. The March 11th, 2011 earthquake in Japan taught us one thing. Do not keep all your eggs in one basket! So, in case of systems, keeping your data duplicate in multiple locations ensures business continuity. We now have our servers in two locations in the USA/EU and one in Japan. Every day’s backup of Global Customers application data is available on another secondary server. This information is confidentially provided to individual customers based on terms and conditions. You are now able to access your earlier business day data on our secondary server allocated to you. Feel free to contact us for more information!

SaaS Applications Launched

13 Apr 2009

Knowledge IT launches 31 types of SaaS applications in the area of Project Management, Process Control, Knowledge Management, and Intelligent Hub. The applications are of 3-4 varying kinds depending on the usage as a Professional, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate. We can host applications on your own web servers, disable it after use or after the on-demand contract expires.

SaaS is generally associated by software professionals and business associates with business software that is typically a low-cost way for businesses to obtain rights to use software “as needed” versus licensing all software with all potential applications. The on-demand licensing enables the benefits of commercially licensed use without the associated complexity and potential high initial budget cost of equipping every user with applications that are only used on a minimal basis. This low cost method improves your balance sheets as you can expense the SAAS monthly costs.
